115 Ukrainians returned by special flight from Cyprus
115 compatriots returned from Cyprus to Ukraine on the special SkyUp flight, 44 of them were evacuated from the occupied territory of Cyprus – the so-called Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
This was reported to Ukrinform at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Cyprus.
“On May 26, the sixth special evacuation flight from Cyprus took place. 115 Ukrainian citizens were on board … Thanks to the efforts of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Cyprus, with the help of the Special Representative from United Nations Secretary General Elizabeth Spehar and the competent authorities of Cyprus, 44 Ukrainians have also been evacuated from the occupied territory of Cyprus – the so-called Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, “said the report.
The diplomatic mission thanked SkyUp for their fruitful work together and noted that all passengers will be self-isolated using the special electronic “Do-it-yourself” application from the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

The embassy said that a total of 672 Ukrainian citizens had been evacuated from Cyprus.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said that with the help of diplomats, more than 230,000 citizens have already returned to Ukraine, and this process is continuing.
