170 Ukrainians returned from France by plane
On Thursday, 170 Ukrainian citizens left France under quarantine restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic with a special flight to their country of origin.
This was reported to the correspondent of Ukrinform by the head of the consular and legal service of the Ukrainian embassy in France Mykola Sobko.
“Today we sent the 18th special flight from France, on which 170 Ukrainians were on board,” said the diplomat.
He said that since the start of the quarantine in France, with the help of the embassy, 4,194 Ukrainian citizens have returned to their country of origin.

As noted, the Cabinet of Ministers introduced quarantine in Ukraine on March 12 to combat the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection. In particular, commercial establishments were closed, except for grocery stores, pharmacies, petrol stations and banks. The works of the Kiev metro, Kharkov and the Dnieper have been stopped, the circulation of land transport in cities, interurban and interregional automobile, rail and air services has been stopped.
Since March 28, Ukraine has completely closed the border for scheduled flights, including aviation.
