According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, abroad 6 Ukrainian citizens died from the disease COVID-19 caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2.

It is noted that 24 Ukrainians have recovered: in Poland, 5, in the Dominican Republic and in Japan, 4 each, in Italy and Nigeria, 2 each and one each in the United Kingdom and in Northern Ireland, in Egypt, in the United United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Germany, Germany, Sweden and Switzerland.
171 Ukrainian citizens abroad undergo treatment in Austria, Belgium, Greece, Spain, Italy, Malta, Nigeria, Netherlands, United Arab Emirates, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Seychelles, Serbia, United States, Thailand, Germany , Czech Republic and Sweden.
The Foreign Ministry said that at 6 p.m. on April 12, 15,575 Ukrainian citizens turned to diplomatic institutions under the Zashchita system.

As Ukrinform reported, as of April 12, 2020, 2,777 cases of COVID-19 had been confirmed in Ukraine. 1,504 patients are on an outpatient basis. A total of 1,100 people were hospitalized, including 48 children.
As a result of complications from the disease, 83 people died, including 40 men and 43 women. Among the dead, people over 50 (85.5%) predominate. Only 89 people have already recovered.
