1976 doctors fell ill in Ukraine COVID-19, especially – in Bucovina
In Ukraine, COVID-19 recruited 1976 health workers, especially in the Chernivtsi region – 264 people.
This was reported on Facebook by the Center for Public Health.
“COVID-19 was confirmed by doctors from 1976 to April 29. Most of all infected medical personnel in the Chernivtsi region: 264 people. However, in terms of the total number of patients in the region, leaders are Kirovograd (36%), Vinnitsa (33%) and Volyn with Poltava Region (28% each), “said the report.
Among the causes of COVID-19 disease among health workers at the health center is the lack of a clear action plan for a medical facility; violation of a specific patient route and patient management standards; Insufficient supply of medical personnel with the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE); incorrect use of personal protective equipment (PPE), their storage and disposal.
“The need for PPE increases considerably and the effectiveness of their use decreases if the institutions do not have a clear plan: advice to the population (” itineraries “of the patient), emergency medical care; transport and hospitalization, care to patients with a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 “, – the message said.

The Center noted that medical personnel receive PPE from local authorities and through centralized purchasing or charitable / humanitarian assistance. This takes into account the needs that the management of the medical establishment forms.
