The National Border Service of Ukraine has confirmed information regarding the dispatch of 200 Ukrainian migrant workers on a special flight to Finland on April 23.
This was told to the Ukrinfor correspondent by the SPSU representative Andrey Demchenko.
“Indeed, a special flight to Helsinki was issued yesterday, 200 citizens took off. We booked a flight, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Infrastructure were involved in its organization,” said the SPSU representative.
According to the media, this is the first charter organized by the Finns at the request of farmers. About two hundred Ukrainians have taken off and, in general, a thousand Ukrainian workers plan to attract agricultural jobs to Finland.
Lists of people and special flights are coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
