The State Bureau of Investigation has reported its suspicions to the former chairman of the supervisory board of Vector Bank in the event of the “withdrawal” of 28 million hryvnia.

“It has been established that since 2015, bank officials, in particular the chairman of the supervisory board, have engaged in an illegal activity mechanism, whereby bank employees have granted loans to controlled commercial entities. Later, by establishing fictitious agreements for the purchase and sale of securities, thus obtained credits, the funds were transferred to the accounts of companies associated with the bank, withdrawn in cash and affected by the participants in the penal regime “, indicates the message .
According to the results of this program, bank officials have seized funds in the amount of more than 28 million hryvnia.

Investigators at the GDB central office reported suspicion of taking possession of this amount to the former chairman of the head of the supervisory board of Vector Bank under Part 5 of Art. 191 of the Criminal Code.
If proven guilty, the suspect faces a prison sentence of up to 12 years with confiscation of property.
