650 million allocated to the laboratories of the ministry of health – Lyashko
650 million hryvnia has been allocated from the stabilization fund for laboratory units of the Ministry of Health.
This was announced during a briefing by the Deputy Minister of Health, chief medical officer of health Viktor Lyashko, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.
“Now all procedures are completed, and 650 million hryvnias from the Acute Respiratory Disease Control Fund, the so-called stabilization fund, are listed for laboratory units of the Ministry of Health to ensure preparation and responding to the spread of coronavirus disease, “said Lyashko.

He noted that out of these funds, 280 million hryvnia is intended to pay for the work of employees of laboratory centers involved in epidemiological and laboratory investigations.
In addition, the Deputy Minister added that approximately 300 million hryvnias were allocated for the purchase of test systems, equipment and reagents for laboratories, including 190 million for the purchase of PCR tests and of reagents necessary for their implementation.
As reported, as of June 5, in Ukraine, 25,964 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19, of which 762 were fatal, 11,372 patients have recovered. 553 new cases were recorded per day.
