About ten ferry passengers from Georgia were examined at the port of Chernomorsk by specialists from the Ministry of Health’s Water Transport Laboratory and sent to an observation base near Odessa.
This was announced by the president of the regional state administration of Odessa Maxim Kutsy on Facebook.
“14 Ukrainian citizens and a foreigner with a permanent residence permit met at the port of Chernomorsk, who returned home by ferry from Georgia. Specialists from the Ministry of Health’s Water Transport Laboratory conducted an examination of the health of all passengers. We found no symptoms, “said Kutsyi.
However, all were sent, according to him, to the observation base near Odessa, in accordance with clause 3.2 of Decision No. 241 of the Council of Ministers of March 29, 2020 on the compulsory observation of persons arriving from the foreigner in quarantine for 14 days.

Accommodation and meals will be free and doctors will constantly monitor their health, said Kutsy.
The head of the regional state administration expressed his gratitude to the passengers who “sympathized with the quarantine rules and isolated themselves from themselves”.
As indicated, the Cabinet of Ministers reinforced on March 29 the quarantine measures related to the spread of the coronavirus, in which, in particular, compulsory self-isolation is provided for people who have been in contact with a COVID- patient. 19, and for the patients themselves who do not need hospitalization, as well as compulsory observation those returning from abroad.
