Accelerate: they want to deprive Avakov of the rights of malicious offenders
The Ministry of the Interior plans to present a bill to parliament to deprive driving licenses in the event of frequent violations of the authorized speed limit.
This was announced during a briefing by Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Anton Gerashchenko, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.
“We plan to introduce into the Verkhovna Rada a bill by which citizens who constantly exceed the speed would not only pay fines, because for those who earn a lot of money, fines of 255 hryvnias or 510 are not so important. But if fines were accumulated, for example, more than 10 to 15 per month, then such a person should be deprived of the right to retake the exam, “said Gerashchenko.
He stated that during 2 days of the photo recording system for traffic offenses, there was already a record holder who, for 14 days, had exceeded the authorized speed, another person had exceeded the speed 13 times, 3 people – 11 times.

“For these people, we believe that if they receive a good message and if we see that these figures continue to violate traffic rules and despise society, there will be a law for these people under which they will be deprived of right to control and forced to repeat the examination for the right to drive “, – summed up Gerashchenko.
As reported, on June 1, an automatic photo and video recording system for traffic violations started operating in Kiev and the Kiev region.
The cameras were installed in Kiev and on the highways of the Kiev region in places of concentration of traffic accidents with serious consequences.
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Sergey Goncharov said Wednesday that the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched a mobile application that allows citizens to check fines for traffic violations.
