Health Minister Maxim Stepanov told President Vladimir Zelensky that 14 regions had already paid all premiums up to 300% in March to doctors for their direct work with patients with COVID-19 coronavirus.

This was discussed at the traditional meeting on preventing the spread of the coronavirus epidemic and its consequences, said the press service of the head of state.

“Glad the process is evolving. Already received positive reviews from doctors who received bonuses. This process takes place quickly when the Cabinet of Ministers and local authorities cooperate. In the Kherson region, all payments ended last week between the leaders – Dnipropetrovsk and Lviv. At the same time, Volyn, Lugansk, the Rivne region and certain other areas are still stuck in bureaucratic bureaucracy. And we already have to start paying for April, ”said Zelensky.

Stepanov also informed the President that in the Nikolaev region, no patient had been registered with COVID-19 in March and that the Chernivtsi region, where the spread of the disease was greatest, would require additional funds. Other regions will finish paying premiums early next week, the minister said.
