All March medical benefits were fully paid only in the Poltava – Stepanov region
The 300% premiums for doctors for the month of March were only fully paid in the Poltava region.
Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said this Monday during a briefing in Poltava, which was broadcast on the Cabinet’s YouTube channel, a correspondent from Ukrinform reported.
“We received information on May 8 on the payment of allowances for March. It is disappointing, I will report to the Prime Minister and the President, especially in certain areas. The only area that has really paid in full is the region from Poltava, on average they paid each medical worker who worked with COVID-19 at around 21,000 hryvnia. These are exactly the 300% they should have paid, “said Stepanov.
He noted that we will “understand” the rest of the zones. “I am sure we will end it and all of our medical workers will receive their wages and additional benefits,” added Stepanov.
The Minister also said that he was in the Poltava region on a work trip.

As reported by Ukrinform, Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said on May 9 that he would insist on making personal decisions about people who hinder the payment of 300% premiums to doctors who work with patients with COVID -19.
President Vladimir Zelensky said at a daily meeting on May 6 that he wanted to find and punish those responsible for the delay in paying the co-payments promised to doctors working with patients with COVID-19.
Earlier in the briefing, Stepanov stressed that all medical workers who did not receive a 300% supplement for March will receive the funds in the near future.
