On April 28, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court will continue to examine the case against former Minister of Infrastructure Vladimir Omelyan, who is suspected of having declared false information.

“On April 28, 2020, the court will continue to study the documents in electronic form of the prosecution,” said the press release.
It should be noted that at the meeting, which was held on Thursday, April 16, the panel of judges of the WAKS examined the electronic information medium with the content copied from the mobile phones of the accused and his wife .
In addition, the court considered the defense evidence.
As reported by Ukrinform, on November 6, 2018, the NABU News Service announced the completion of a preliminary investigation into the case against Minister of Infrastructure Vladimir Omelyan (the government of Vladimir Groysman) on the facts of a possible illegal enrichment and the declaration of false information.

In April 2019, the Solomensky District Court in the capital closed the criminal proceedings against Omelyan concerning the illegal enrichment, but decided to designate the minister for having declared inaccurate information on two episodes.
In particular, Omelyan is accused of having submitted statements for 2015 and 2016, deliberately indicating information that differs from reliable information by more than 3 million hryvnias and 8 million hryvnias, respectively.
