Apple doesn’t like BOE OLED displays


After Samsung, which rejected the OLED displays foreseen for the future top of the range, Apple is also not satisfied with BOE’s OLED panels. In particular, the Bank of England, according to initial plans, should provide displays for new 6.1-inch iPhone 12one of the two “base” models of the Apple smartphone line (the other will have a 5.4-inch OLED display made by Samsung Display). The first BOE OLED displays would not pass Apple’s quality control.

At the moment, the Chinese company should prepare one new delivery for home in Cupertino in connection with the start of production of the new iPhone 12, scheduled for July. In the event of further failure, the BOE will be replaced by LG Display and Samsung Display. which will already take care of the supply of OLED displays for other variants of the iPhone 12 line.
