Argentine parents came for babies born to surrogate mothers
Tonight, a charter flight landed at Boryspil Airport, which has been closed for quarantine, and 11 couples arrived from Argentina for babies born to them to Ukrainian surrogate mothers.

“The arrivals were greeted personally by the Argentine ambassador to Ukraine, Elena Leticia Teresa Mikusinski. Before that, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry authorized Argentine parents who could not recover their children born to surrogate mothers to enter Ukraine “, the statement said.
All arrivals must undergo mandatory observation. Then – issue a children’s passport and look for the opportunity to return home.
As indicated, in the hotel “Venice” of the capital, which is a department of the Biotexcom clinic, 51 children were born by surrogacy. Parents cannot pick up children due to quarantine restrictions.
The Human Rights Plenipotentiary of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Lyudmila Denisova, called on the police to demand an immediate response to the situation.

Denisova subsequently examined the rooms equipped with the “children’s hotel” and admitted that the conditions were good there and that all the children were well looked after. She also stated that during a working meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the SWG, an effective mechanism had been developed to resolve this problem of transfer of babies born indirectly to their biological parents .
On May 15, Parliament registered Bill 3488, which introduces the approval of dispensaries and criminal responsibility for violations committed during surrogacy.
The Ministry of Social Policy noted the need to develop a national surrogacy policy.
