During the Easter holidays at the Ukrainian border, the lowest level of passenger flow for all years of independence was observed.
It was in a comment to a Ukrinform correspondent by the SPSU spokesperson, Andrei Demchenko.
“Closer to the weekend, the level of passenger flow has increased slightly – up to 12,000 per day. And fell sharply on the 19th. Passenger traffic at Easter was set at 7,100 people per day, “said Demcheno.
According to him, during April 20, the flow of people at the border reached a historic low of 6 thousand 900 people.
The representative of the border services stressed that this is the lowest level in all of Ukraine’s years of independence.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Cabinet of Ministers decided on April 15 to temporarily close 10 border crossing points. Eighteen automobile checkpoints remained in place.
