Employees of the attorney general’s office handed in their day-long earnings to help stem the spread of coronavirus infection in Ukraine – in April they successfully raised more than 1.8 million UAH.
This was reported by the press service of the Attorney General’s Office.
“The voluntary donation from our employees will now support hospitals in the Ternopil and Bucovina regions, where some of the incidence rates are the highest. Each medical institution has received more than 600,000 hryvnias, which can be spent on the needs of patients, doctors or the purchase of necessary equipment, “said Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova.
It is noted that at the request of the regional anti-epidemic headquarters, the Regional Perinatal Clinical Center “Mother and Child” in Ternopol, the Central District Hospital of Monastyrisi and the Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital in Chernivtsi received a advantage to fight against COVID-19.
