Avakov recalled criminal responsibility for non-payment of salaries to doctors
Failure to pay salaries to doctors results in criminal liability.
This was stated by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on Facebook.
“Failure to pay doctors salaries results in criminal responsibility,” said the report.
In particular, Avakov noted that during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, it had been decided to pay the doctors extra, but that not all the medical workers had received the money.
“Consequently, if the need arises, an investigation will be carried out to find out why the doctors did not receive the promised money,” noted the press service of the Ministry of the Interior.

Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said on April 13 that, according to regional state administrations that were supplied to the Department of Health, on March 18, 300% of the salary was paid in full to working doctors with COVID-19 in March.
As for April, Stepanov noted that payments to doctors are made according to a different algorithm – according to agreements with the NSZU.
