Back to ticket offices: MON does not rule out that students will return to universities in June
Higher education establishments may resume training in hospitals in June, provided that a number of restrictive measures are lifted.
About it at an online briefing on April 30, said Deputy Minister of Education and Science Yegor Stadny, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.
“If the restrictions that now prohibit us from being in classrooms, in libraries, in rooms where the same practice takes place, are removed, we will be able to return in June. And it will be the decision of each university, and that could be a separate solution for each of the courses, for different specialties, “said Stadny.
He added that we are not talking about lifting the quarantine, but only about lifting certain restrictive measures.
The official noted that in the case of the lifting of restrictive measures, it is possible to defend theses in universities if it is not possible to do so remotely.

“Last week, we wrote to higher education institutions with a letter of recommendation from the Ministry of Education and Science that it is advisable to try to place the defense as far as possible to graduate, so to give everyone the maximum opportunity to work on the sources, to carry out all the necessary activities, in fact, to finish writing the work diploma, “said the herd.
As reported on April 24, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal unveiled a plan to exit quarantine in Ukraine, which includes 5 stages and whose implementation can begin after May 11, subject to a favorable epidemic situation.

Since March 12, the government has introduced quarantine in Ukraine to fight the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection. In particular, commercial establishments were closed, with the exception of grocery stores, pharmacies, petrol stations and banks. The works of the Kiev metro, Kharkov and Dnipro have been stopped, the circulation of land transport in cities, interurban and interregional automobile, rail and air services has been stopped.
Now the quarantine in Ukraine has been extended until May 11, 2020.
According to the cost center, at 9:00 a.m. on April 30 in Ukraine, 10,406 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19, of which 261 were fatal, 1,238 patients recovered. 540 new cases were registered per day.
