Train ticket sales are open to 50% of seats in the first five trains operating after quarantine. Passengers in cars will be allowed in protective masks after thermal control.

“According to Decree No. 392 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, ticket sales are open to 50% of the seats on these trains. Tickets can still be purchased online only.
It should also be noted that passengers will be allowed on trains exclusively under protective masks, when checking tickets, body temperature will be measured.
In addition, they assured Ukrzaliznytsya that the medical treatment of the wagons between each flight will be ensured and that the stewards will receive personal protective equipment.

At the same time, the company stressed that the mobile app for purchasing tickets so far would not work and asked to use the web version of the system to sell travel documents.
Earlier, Minister of Infrastructure Vladislav Krikliy said that Ukrzaliznytsia had opened the sale of tickets for the first destinations in Ukraine, the trains will start running from June 1. Ticket sales are open for trains No. 721/722 Kiev – Kharkov, No. 726/725 Kiev – Kharkov, No. 763/764 Kiev – Odessa, No. 711/712 Kiev – Konstantinovka, No. 740/739 Kiev – Kryvyi Rih.

As noted, the Cabinet decided on May 20 to switch to an adaptive quarantine model from May 22 to June 22.
Since March 12, the government has introduced quarantine in Ukraine to fight the spread of coronavirus infection. In particular, the works of the metro in Kiev, Kharkov and the Dnieper have been stopped, the circulation of land transport in cities, the intercity automobile, rail and air services have been stopped.
