Health Minister Maxim Stepanov announced that international air traffic in Ukraine would be restored from 15 June, subject to mandatory self-isolation or observation of passengers arriving in the country.

Stepanov also stressed that it is currently possible to enter freely in any direction and leave Ukraine by road.

“If you want to go to Belarus or the European Union countries by road, you can do so. To date there is no restriction. If we are talking about air travel, then, as per the quarantine exit plan, it will be started from June 15.

But I want to remind you that when a person returns to Ukraine, according to established standards, they should go into self-isolation, install “DIY at home, and stay in self-isolation for 14 days,” Stepanov said.

Recall, Ukraine is moving towards an adaptive quarantine model. At the same time, the government is weakening nationwide restrictive measures, but they will only work in areas where the epidemic is allowed.

Decisions to reduce or strengthen quarantine in areas will be made by the Regional Commissions on Technical and Environmental Safety and Emergency Situations, subject to adherence to three goals. At the time of national quarantine, which is renewed in the new regime by 22 June, citizens must wear masks, maintain social distance, disinfect regularly and carry identification cards with them.
