Cabinet explained why it was worth it to be in the mask on the street

You must wear a mask or a respirator on the street, because at any time, you can be on the territory that falls under the definition of “public place”.

This is indicated in the clarification of the new restrictive measures for the quarantine period, published on the government portal.

According to new restrictive measures, a mask or respirator must be in public places. Public place – part of any structure accessible or open to the public, including for a fee (entrances, underground passages, stadiums; parks, squares, playgrounds, stadiums, public transport stops, elevators, government offices, medical institutions , etc. d.).

However, the Cabinet notes that the list of public places may be extended by the local authorities.

“Therefore, we strongly recommend that you wear a mask in the street, because at any time you can be in the territory that falls under the definition of” public space “,” said the government.

It is noted that at present, given the rate of spread of the coronavirus, all people are considered to be potentially infected. The mask, in turn, prevents possible infection of others. This is why a compulsory mask regime is introduced in Ukraine.
