Friday, April 24, the Cabinet of Ministers is expected to approve a package of medical services for the treatment of coronaviruses.
Deputy Minister of Health, Chief Medical Officer of Health Viktor Lyashko, said this on the “Right to Power” program.
“In April, a new set of NHRIs is being developed and will be funded for hospitals that provide care to patients with COVID-19. There will be a package for emergency medical care and there will be a package for teams that will take samples for research for delivery to virology laboratories … Tomorrow the government (April 24 – ed.) Will approve the procedure and mechanism for payment of these funds, “said Lyashko.

He added that the Ministry of Health has developed a clear algorithm for the hospitalization of patients with COVID-19, identifying 243 hospitals which accept the first wave of patients.
“27,000 beds are ready for patients in Ukraine, almost 2,000 beds are filled,” said Lyashko.
At the same time, he said, the cases where local authorities say their hospitals are not ready to accept sick patients and the lack of government assistance are linked to the fact that they violate the HD algorithm in the field. and hospitalize patients in hospitals that are not on the list.
