Children’s camps will not open until July 31 – Ministry of Health
Due to the high incidence of coronavirus, children’s health facilities will not open until July 31.
This was announced during a briefing on June 28 by Health Minister Maxim Stepanov, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.
“I think we just need to pay attention … to the number of new cases of coronavirus, the number of people hospitalized every day, the number of people who die. And then, it’s much easier to understand why we don’t allow Children’s health camps to function, “said Stepanov.
According to him, a children’s health camp is a large number of children who come from different regions to rest and then spend some time together.
“During vacations in these leisure camps, COVID-19 outbreaks are possible, … it was decided to ban the opening of children’s leisure camps until July 31, 2020,” he said. he explains.

As reported, as of June 28, in Ukraine, 42,982 cases of COVID-19 had been laboratory confirmed in Ukraine, 917 new cases per day.
