Former people’s deputy and activist Maidan Tatyana Chornovol refused to testify during an interrogation in the metropolitan administration of the State Bureau of Investigations.

It should be noted that Chornovol appeared on April 14 for causing the death of another person, committed by a prior conspiracy by a group of people in a manner dangerous to the lives of many (paragraphs 5, 12, part 2 of article 115 of the Criminal Code).
“During the interrogation, the suspect refused to provide evidence, referring to article 63 of the Constitution of Ukraine,” said the statement.
Before Tatyana Chornovol, before being questioned by the state security services, she told journalists that she accepted the possibility of placing her in detention “from the courtroom”.

On April 14 at 4 p.m. in the Pechersk district court of the capital will begin a hearing on the selection of preventive measures for Chornovol. The prosecution will request the application of a preventive measure against her in the form of house arrest.
