Cinemas in Ukraine will not work yet – Ministry of Health
The Cabinet of Ministers decided not to resume work on the cinemas.
This was stated by Health Minister Maxim Stepanov during an online briefing on Saturday, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.
“We have limited the activities of cinemas in order to prevent the deterioration of the epidemiological situation. In other words, our cinemas do not open,” said the minister, informing of the decisions taken at a government meeting on Friday.
Stepanov added that he had met with representatives of major cinema chains and assured that “all these questions were agreed”.

As previously reported, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy has made a proposal to the Ministry of Health to start the gradual opening of cinemas that were not functioning due to quarantine on July 2.
As of June 13, there were 30,506 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine, particularly per day 753.
