Consumers who have previously added their card will not be required to enter a 16-digit card number and remember the password to make a purchase
Just yesterday, we reported that American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa, the leading payment systems in the world, announced the introduction of click-pay online payment technology in new markets, and today another country has become known. Visa launched the Click to Pay service in Ukraine, which will further simplify the payment process on various Internet platforms.
From now on, on retail sites or in mobile applications that display the Click to Pay icon, consumers who have previously added their card will no longer need to enter a 16-digit card number and remember a password to make a purchase. For vendors, this solution reduces the number of refinances to pay for selected orders or charitable contributions, as well as providing a single integration for multiple payment systems cards, meaning placing an order is one Simple and untouched method.
This button uses advanced authentication techniques and methods, including device verification and biometrics to protect transactions. Click to Pay is based on the industry standard EMV Secure Remote Commerce. In addition, Click to Pay also works with the EMVCo token specification and 3-D secure specification to use more security tools for new and existing digital payment channels.
According to Visa, more and more consumers are shopping online. 52% of respondents in Ukraine said that they had to order food items online for the first time due to quarantine, and 35% started purchasing drugs on the Internet.
