Colleges exempt from final state certification – clarification from the Ministry of Education

In 2020, students who complete full secondary education (POSO) in vocational higher education institutions are exempt from the public educational institution, but have the right to follow it in the form of UPE.
This is indicated in the clarifications published on the website of the Ministry of Education and Science.
“2020 graduates who complete their studies in 2019/2020 and have the right to resubmit the GIA in the form of UPE can apply for exemption from final state certification. Previously issued ordinances on granting academic leave should be canceled. Independent external assessment (UPE) forward applicants to higher education institutions “, – said in a statement.
In addition, candidates who request a gold or silver medal are eligible to receive these medals without passing the GIA.
The Ministry of Education and Science has noted that in the annexes to the certificates of comprehensive general secondary education, an exemption from the final state certification is noted.
The results of the UPR as assessments by state academic authors are included in the appendix to the certificate at the student’s request (at the request of an adult candidate or one of the parents, d ” other legal representatives of candidates for minor education).

This applies to these categories of students: who, during the 2019/2020 academic year, complete POSO and complete their studies in 2021 or 2022; who, during the 2019/2020 academic year, have the right to resubmit the GIA in the form of a UPE and to complete the level of educational qualification of a junior specialist in 2021.
As noted, the State Commission for Technological and Environmental Security and Emergencies authorized an independent external assessment from June 25 to July 17.
