Former President of Ukraine MEP Petro Poroshenko said he and his party would not vote for the appointment of former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili to the post of Deputy Prime Minister minister responsible for reform. He noted that this is a common position of the European Solidarity Party.
This is reported by the NPF, referring to Youtube channel Poroshenko.
Former President of Ukraine, MEP, Petro Poroshenko, said neither he nor the other MEPs would vote for the appointment of former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili as deputy prime minister for reform.
“European Solidarity is in opposition today. As an opposition, we will not vote for the whims of the authorities, “said Poroshenko.
Poroshenko noted that in this case, there is no room for personal relationships, as he shares politics and personal relationships.
“My position: don’t expect any personal evaluation from me. There is state responsibility, there is state interest, and any personal relationship must be put aside. “
In addition, the politician noted that the government controls the office of the president. Poroshenko ironically noted that the PO should have been renamed “95 – quarter” for a long time.
And Saakashvili’s return to Ukrainian politics indicates that the Zelensky team has been understaffed. According to him, “the spare shop has turned into a stool”.
