Company donated more than £ 370 million to special fund to fight COVID-19 at OP – Tymoshenko
The total budget of the special fund created to fight proliferation with COVID-19 in the office of the president amounted to 374 million hryvnias, all the funds were provided by representatives of companies.
This was stated by the deputy head of the OP Kirill Tymoshenko on the Freedom of Expression program on ICTV, reports a correspondent for UKRINFORM.
“The amount of funds that have been accumulated in the fund is actually 374 million hryvnias,” he said and stressed that all of these funds were commercial, not budgetary.
Tymoshenko recalled that a month and a half ago, the president held a meeting with big companies, during which it was decided that the entrepreneurs would help the country to buy protective equipment for doctors and doctors. other services – police, border guards, etc.
According to him, the funds of the fund were spent both on purchases abroad, in particular in China and Korea, and on purchases in Ukraine.

The deputy chief of the EP informed that more than one million medical respirators, 173,000 disposable biological protective suits, 60,000 glasses, 100,000 PCR tests purchased in China, 600,000 Ukrainian PCR tests and the like have been purchased for the indicated funds of the fund.
“We are now closing all documents for this fund, at the end of the month these documents are subject to audit, the audit will last approximately two to three weeks – we want to do this in a large international company. This audit report will be given to each businessman who participated in this fund, after that there will be a meeting with them (business – editor’s note), if they give the green light for us to publish the entire report, we will publish it ” , added the deputy head of the PO.

At the same time, Tymoshenko said he had presented an operational report on the use of funds from the special fund to the air, and a detailed report will be published after the audit.
