In Ukraine, 87% of those who died from coronaviruses were over the age of 50.

“Of all those who died from complications caused by COVID-19, most are women, and the number of people over the age of 50 is 87% (as of April 10, April 6, 38 fatal cases)”, a has it been reported.
It should be noted that most of the deceased women – in the age group 50-59 years and men – 60-69 years.
Most of the dead suffered from serious cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus, neoplasms, kidney, lung disease and obesity. In general, the proportion of diseases was (one or more): 74% – cardiovascular diseases; 40% – diabetes mellitus 7.5% – neoplasms 7.5% – kidney disease, 11% – lung disease; 4% – obesity; 26% are associated diseases.
The 38 patients were hospitalized. In addition, all those who died from complications caused by COVID-19 had a positive laboratory test for the causative agent of this disease.
As indicated in the health center, at present, out of 1,319 confirmed cases, 95 concern children. Outpatient treatment of 597 people, including 61 children. People aged 30 to 69 years represent 74% of all confirmed cases of COVID-19.

As reported, in Ukraine on Monday morning, 1,319 cases of coronavirus were recorded, 28 people recovered, 38 people died.
On the morning of April 5, 1,251 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 were registered in Ukraine, including 32 fatalities and 25 cured patients. 156 new cases were registered per day.
