Court changes address of house arrest of Sternenko
The Shevchenkovsky District Court in Kiev granted on Tuesday June 16 the request of the prosecutor in the case of activist Sergei Sternenko concerning a change of address to apply a preventive measure.
This was reported by the Ukrinform correspondent.
Thus, the activist will make a house arrest at the place of effective residence in Kiev, and not at the place of registration in Odessa.
As Ukrinform reported, on June 15, the Shevchenkovsky District Court in Kiev chose Sternenko as a measure of restraint in the form of a house arrest. At the same time, according to the activist, the place of residence under house arrest in the court decision indicates “the military unit of Odessa”, instead of registration, but he “is not allowed to stay there surrender, as this is a sensitive establishment. “
“This decision cannot be implemented,” said the activist, and noted that due to his non-compliance, prosecutors can then “request detention”.
