The investigative judge of the Kiev Pechersky District Court, Sergei Vovk, will continue to choose a restraining measure against the former people’s deputy and militant Maidan Tatyana Chornovol after she has been refused her dispute.
Action in favor of Chornovol is taking place in court, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.
“Now the court will consider a preventive measure against me. The prosecution has filed a rather lenient measure, given the article they are accusing me of – this is a house arrest. But what is happening now gives me reasons to think that certain options will be found to give I a stricter restraint, “Chornovol told reporters before the hearing.
In front of the courthouse, there is an action in favor of Tatyana Chornovol. In particular, there are MEPs from the European Solidarity faction, who have previously expressed their desire to release Chornovol.
