Court postponed consideration of change of Kuzmenko preventive measure to June 4
The Pechersky District Court adjourned the hearing on the modification of the restraint measure imposed on the doctor and volunteer Yulia Kuzmenko, suspected of the murder of the journalist Pavel Sheremet, on June 4.
This was commented on at Ukrinform by his defender Taras Bezpalyi.
“Our meeting did not take place again on the occasion of the third absence of the prosecutor. Postponed to June 4, but in fact we asked to reconsider the decision, which is valid until tomorrow. As a result, tomorrow’s decision is losing its strength, and we have nothing to review, “said the defender.
Responding to a question, Bezpalyi noted that the June 4 meeting “makes no sense, because tomorrow the decision is no longer valid and that’s it, we have nowhere else to go.”
