COVID-19 Commission Decision: Reinforce Control, Add Vehicles and Distribute Peak Hours

The Commission for Technological and Environmental Security and Emergencies has instructed the regulatory authorities to strengthen the monitoring of compliance with health standards by businesses.
This was announced on June 13 by the Deputy Minister of Health – chief medical officer of health Viktor Lyashko on the basis of the results of the committee meeting, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.
“Today, regulatory authorities have been asked to significantly strengthen the monitoring of compliance of business entities with health standards,” he said.
In addition, he said, the Committee on Fuels and Energy and Emergencies addressed the issue of increasing rolling stock for commuter rail and commuter road transport and interregional.

Lyashko also said that the commission had examined the question of changing the working hours of companies, government agencies and institutions in order to lighten the transport load during peak hours.
As reported, as of June 13, 30,506 cases of COVID-19 had been laboratory confirmed in Ukraine and 753 new cases per day.
Since March 12, the government has introduced quarantine in Ukraine to combat the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection.
From May 22 to June 22, an adaptive quarantine model is in effect.
