Stepanov explained the need for such changes by the fact that after the world began to use drugs such as Plaquenil (with the active substance hydroxychloroquine – ed.), For the treatment of COVID-19 and the introduction of chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine in the Ukrainian protocol for the treatment of this disease, it is a drug the remedy has disappeared from Ukrainian pharmacies, which has compromised the treatment of people with rheumatic diseases.

The government has also modified the extension of the provisions relating to the public registration of medicines. This applies to medicines supplied to Ukraine as part of international purchases.
