It should be noted that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine expects a peak in the incidence of COVID-19 coronavirus infections in early May. After its adoption, anti-crisis measures to support the economy will start to be introduced.

“At the meeting we discussed in detail the payments to doctors and medical staff, who are now involved in combating the spread of the disease. Additional payments will take place in late April, when doctors receive basic salaries “, the statement said.

The government also explained the reasons for the delay in receiving data on the number of infected coronaviruses in seven areas. In one of the regions, a technical error occurred, where the equipment was restarted, but in general, at Easter, many Ukrainians with suspicious symptoms decided not to see a doctor. The government has declared that all data will be included in the general statistics.

In addition, the President thanked the National Guard for helping to unload the plane that had brought the protective equipment.

“Thank you to the Chief of the National Guard and I ask you to convey our sincere gratitude to all the staff,” said Zelensky.
