He announced it on Facebook.

“I receive many messages and letters asking me to speed up the process of leaving Ukraine from quarantine. I fully understand the reasons for these requests. But I also realize the responsibility of the authorities for the life and Ukrainian health. relaxation of restrictions, “wrote Shmygal.

He added that there are three scenarios around the world on how to live in a pandemic.

According to him, the second option is liberal and implies a return to normal life and the opening of all institutions.

“To follow the example of Sweden. However, today in Sweden, more than 18,600 cases of disease have been detected and more than 2,100 deaths have been recorded. In other words, the mortality rate is over 11% It is five times higher than in Ukraine, “said the Prime Minister.

He added that the third scenario is not to choose between health and the economy, but to launch an adaptive quarantine with the transition to new social standards, like most countries, in particular the Czech Republic and Poland, whose dynamics of the disease are similar to the situation in Ukraine.

The head of government also drew attention to the fact that the gradual abolition of the restrictions will make it possible to constantly monitor the situation with the incidence and in the event of epidemics to locate them quickly.
