Infrastructure Minister Vladislav Krikliy says it is realistic for Ukrainians to plan a vacation for the second half of the summer.
This was stated by Minister of Infrastructure Vladislav Krikliy in an interview with BBC News Ukraine.
“It is realistic to plan a vacation for the second half of the summer. But if everyone follows safety rules, he does not take risks for himself and his loved ones. And if we see that the statistics s ‘improve, that is, the disease curve does not lengthen,’ said the minister.
According to his forecasts, the resumption of flights will depend on the speed with which other countries open their doors, but it will certainly not be until the May holidays.

As reported, on March 12, the government introduced quarantine in Ukraine to combat the spread of Covid-19 coronavirus infection. In particular, commercial establishments were closed, with the exception of grocery stores, pharmacies, petrol stations and banks. In addition, work on the Kiev, Kharkov and Dnipro metros has been stopped, land transport movements in cities, interurban and interregional automobile, rail and air services have been stopped.

The first quarantine was introduced until April 3, then extended until April 24.
Since March 28, Ukraine has completely closed the border for scheduled flights, including air traffic.
