The JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” will start selling passenger tickets when it receives a decision from all regional commissions on technological and environmental security issues and emergencies.
This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladislav Krikliy in his Telegram channel.
“Ukrzaliznytsia will start selling tickets as soon as it receives a decision from all regional commissions on technological and environmental security issues and emergencies,” the minister wrote.
As Ukrinform reported, since March 12, the government has introduced quarantine in Ukraine to combat the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection. In particular, commercial establishments were closed, except for grocery stores, pharmacies, petrol stations and banks. Work suspended in the Kiev, Kharkov and Dnipro metros, land transport in cities, interurban and interregional automobile, rail and air services has been halted.
On May 11, Ukraine began the first phase of the weakening of quarantine. At the same time, the Cabinet of Ministers has authorized certain trade and consumer services institutions to work.
The second phase of quarantine mitigation began on May 22. Until June 22, Ukraine will have adaptive quarantine.

On the morning of May 25, the metro began operating in Kiev and Kharkov.
In accordance with the timetable for the resumption of transport, promulgated by the Minister of Infrastructure, from June 1 in Ukraine should begin rail passenger traffic in urban, regional, interregional and interregional road passenger traffic, and from June 15, air service will resume.
