Defense Ministry Denies Information About Purchase Of Protective Medicines In China

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine denies information on the market passed by the medical protection agency in China.

This was reported by the department’s press service.

“The media reports on a contract allegedly concluded with a Chinese company for the purchase of medical protection. The agreement has not been implemented and the money has not been transferred”, said Svetlana Pavlovskaya, spokesman for the Ukrainian Minister of Defense.

According to her, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Taran has launched an internal audit, on the basis of the results of which an appropriate decision will be taken.

A few days ago, a number of media reported that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine had concluded contracts to purchase medical facilities and equipment to fight the coronavirus for 69.6 million hryvnias with a Chinese company specializing in the manufacture and sale of equipment for telecommunications operators and telecommunications.
