The Center for Public Health of Ukraine noted that improper use of medical masks can reduce their effectiveness and made recommendations on how to put on, wear, remove and dispose of the masks.

“When using masks, it is necessary to follow the recommendations for putting them on, wearing them, removing them and disposing of them,” said the message.
It should be noted that the mask must cover the mouth and nose and that its edges adapt perfectly to the face. Also, do not touch the outer surface of the mask during use.
It is recommended to change the mask every 2 to 4 hours or when it is wet. In addition, disposable masks cannot be reused. The mask must be removed after the gum and do not touch its front part.
Immediately after use, the mask should be disposed of in a closed waste container. After removing the mask or when touching the mask used, wash your hands with soap or treat with alcohol.
It should be noted that improper use of medical masks can reduce their effectiveness.

In addition, the health center reports that a healthy person does not need a medical mask because it does not protect against infection with a new coronavirus. However, in some countries, masks are worn by everyone at the request of the authorities.
As reported by Ukrinform, according to data from the Public Health Center, as of April 4 at 10:00 a.m. in Ukraine, there were 1,096 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19, of which 28 were fatal, 23 patients recovered.
