During quarantine, 68,000 doctors received bonuses and unlimited internet access from Kyivstar
During the quarantine, the national telecommunications operator Kyivstar provided premiums and unlimited Internet access to 68,000 doctors.
This was reported by Ukrinform in the operator’s press service.
“During the quarantine period, the mobile operator counted premiums equivalent to 150 to 68 thousand UAH of doctors and nurses from the register of medical workers in Ukraine. 58,000 of them received the bonus twice (the date of filing of the request and the extension of the quarantine were taken into account) ”, indicates the message.
According to the press service, in June, of the 68,000 doctors who had previously received bonuses, Kyivstar provided unlimited internet access for 90 days – at no additional cost.

“We continue to support doctors. Despite the weakening of quarantine conditions, they remain at the forefront of the fight against coronaviruses. Bonus, Internet – for us, it’s a way of telling doctors: we are grateful for what you do every day. And while you are treating patients, we help you, as always, stay in touch, ”said Kyivstar President Alexander Komarov.
As Ukrinform reported, Kyivstar had previously allocated 30 million UAH in charity assistance for the purchase of medical equipment in collaboration with the Tvoy Obora Charitable Foundation. In addition, Kyivstar made a number of promotional offers to its subscribers and business customers, so that during the quarantine, they had access to certain services and resources without payment. Kyivstar’s total investment amounted to more than 60 million hryvnia.
