Education ministry says graduates will not join military this summer
The Ministry of Education and Science has agreed with the Ministry of Defense that graduates of schools and higher education institutions will not be called to the online service this summer.
This was declared by the Minister of Education and Science Lyubomir Mandziy on the air “Gromadsky”.
“We have spoken with colleagues from the ministry in order to prevent such cases when graduates who are 18 years old already in July, when there are no UPE results and the opening campaign has not started yet, so they don’t get drafted into the army, “she said.

Manziy also confirmed that the opening campaign will be the basis for postponing the call.
“Given the circumstances, the timing of the opening campaign on the Defense Ministry website indicates that it has taken it into account and has instructed committee projects to take it into account in their actions,” said Mandziy.

And by the way. The Minister has confirmed that this will be grounds for adjournment of the appeal.
