“We held consultations with the Ministry of Health and received clear recommendations on the urgent need to provide our doctors with protective equipment. As part of this program, the company Epicenter delivered the Mriya plane with assistance aid to medical institutions in Ukraine: 2 million masks, 75,000 protective suits and 30,000 glasses that are transferred to all regional centers in the country, “said Vladimir Goncharov, deputy general manager and director of retail at Epicenter K .

It is specified that personal protective equipment will be distributed by regional health services according to the needs of regional medical institutions.

In particular, the Kiev region received 100,000 medical masks, 1,000 protective suits and 2.5,000 glasses.

Also in Kiev, 100,000 medical masks, 1,500 protective suits and 3,150 protective glasses were received; in the Odessa region – 100,000 medical masks, 900 protective suits and 2,5,000 protective glasses; in the Chernihiv region – 40,000 medical masks, 600 protective suits and 800 glasses.

At the same time, in the Zaporozhye region received 60,000 medical masks, 900 protective suits and 4250 glasses; in Dnepropetrovsk – 70,000 medical masks, 900 protective suits and 2,650 glasses; in Khmelnitsky – 100,000 medical masks, 1,000 protective suits and 1,000 protective glasses; in Poltava – 70,000 medical masks, 900 protective suits and 3,000 protective glasses; in Vinnitsa – 50,000 medical masks, 900 protective suits and 2,200 glasses.

It is noted separately that by the end of the week, all regions of Ukraine will receive humanitarian aid from the company Epicenter K.

As reported by Ukrinform, on April 23, the transport aircraft AN-225 Mriya arrived in Ukraine with medical cargo. The plane was met in Kiev by President Vladimir Zelensky, Minister of Infrastructure Vladislav Krikliy, medical consultant Viktor Lyashko and other officials. In total, Mriya brought 103 tonnes of medical freight.

President Vladimir Zelensky then declared that “our” Mriya “has brought to Ukraine 12 million masks for hospitals and pharmacy chains, brought about 260,000 glasses for doctors and more than 100,000 protective suits for the 5th level of protection. “
