The GDB completed an investigation into the case of the forced dispersal of Euromaidan on 30 November 2013 concerning the former deputy head of the public security department of the main directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Kiev and the former deputy head of the department – head of the mass events department of the public security department of the main branch of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kiev.

“Investigators from the Office of Investigation into Crimes Related to Mass Demonstrations in 2013-2014, the National Investigation Office, under the procedural direction of prosecutors from the Office of the Attorney General, completed a preliminary investigation of two criminal proceedings against the former deputy head of the public security department of the General Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the city of Kiev and the former deputy head of the department – the head of the department responsible for mass protests of the department of public security of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine We are in the city of Kiev, “said the message.
Former law enforcement officers are suspected of illegally obstructing peaceful gatherings of citizens (article 340 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code).
