The European Commission has decided to allocate financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 1.2 billion euros, which should help Ukraine get through the coronavirus pandemic safely:
“This is unprecedented financial assistance. Such support from the European Union in difficult times is not only a manifestation of solidarity in difficult times. This is further proof that Ukraine did the right thing when it chose the European leadership. After all, a friend is in need. “
The president added that this money will help Ukraine to guarantee macroeconomic stability. In addition, with such financial assistance, Ukraine will be able to allocate more money to help citizens and mitigate the negative effects of COVID-19.
