The parties to the Trilateral Contact Group for the Peaceful Settlement of the Situation in the Donbas have reached agreement in principle on the mutual release lists of detainees.
This was reported by the press service of the office of the President of Ukraine.
“During the TKG videoconference, an agreement in principle was reached concerning the mutual release lists of the detainees, as well as the dates at the latest for Easter,” the statement said.
According to the press service, on the instructions of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the Ukrainian side of the Tripartite Contract Group launched the negotiation process continuously, in the form of a videoconference.
The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, addressed the participants in the consultations: “I am grateful that our proposal was supported to work, focusing on the result, and more intensively, there understood in subgroups, and discuss all issues in order to reach an agreement as soon as possible. Ukraine seeks to increase the efficiency of the Tripartite Contact Group meetings. We want bigger solutions that will help solve the security and humanitarian problems in Donbas. “
According to him, priority efforts should be focused precisely on security and humanitarian issues.

Ermak stressed the importance of full, full and perpetual respect for the ceasefire on an ongoing basis.
In addition, at a meeting of the TCG, the issues of humanitarian demining of the territories were discussed. The parties must provide the OSCE with a list of these demining sites and guarantee security at all sites.
During the videoconference, the TKG parties continued negotiations to determine the following areas for the separation of forces and assets in the Donbass.
