False on coronavirus: SBU has already exposed 385 agitators, 18 of them are Russian
Since the start of the quarantine, the Security Service of Ukraine has denounced 385 Internet agitators who have spread fakes about the coronavirus epidemic, 18 of which acted on the instructions of the Russian Federation.

“During the quarantine period, cyber security experts from Ukraine blocked more than 2.6 thousand communities with more than one million audiences, revealing 385 Internet agitators who distributed various fakes over the Internet. COVID-19 epidemic, “the statement said.
In particular, it is noted that 18 identified agitators acted on the instructions of the Russian side. They “worked” in Kiev, Odessa, Dnipro, Lviv, Kherson, Poltava, Kropyvnytskyï, Konotop, Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnitsky and Zhashkov. Criminal proceedings have been brought against them for actions aimed at undermining the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, modifying or forcibly overturning the constitutional order or seizing the power of the State ( Articles 109 and 110 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code).
According to the SBU, via social networks, the Russian special services and the networks of trolling agents they managed called for the violation of quarantine, demonstrations, takeover and support for the information for these illegal activities.
For example, a resident of the Odessa region has regularly published information on his pages on social networks calling on the western regions to join the border states of Ukraine. The agitator received publications from online propaganda publications and from websites of the Russian Federation. During the investigations, computer equipment and mobile devices containing documents confirming the illegal activities were found on the agitator’s premises. He was informed of a suspicion of the commission of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Investigation actions are underway.

At the same time, the SBU sent information on the 367 identified agitators to the national police. 160 people are held administratively responsible for the dissemination of false rumors likely to cause panic or disturbances to public order, under article 173-1 of the code of administrative offenses.
According to the intelligence agency, during the period 2019-2020, the courts have pronounced 26 convictions against Internet propagandists who deliberately carried out destructive information activities at the expense of the security of the State of Ukraine via social media.
