Fines of up to 340,000 People Threatened for Quarantine Violation – Ministry of Health
Minister of Health Maxim Stepanov recalled that fines for non-compliance with anti-epidemic rules can reach 340,000 UAH for business owners.
He said so during a briefing on June 19, reports the Ukrinform correspondent.
“If you go to the appropriate premises, including a supermarket or shopping center, and you don’t use a mask, you could be fined 17,000 UAH. You should know that. If you are the owner from a shopping center or a restaurant, and you if you do not respect the rules established in our country, you could be fined from 170 to 340 thousand UAH, “said Stepanov.
He added that the anti-epidemic rules are not complicated and that their implementation will prevent the growth of incidence and will not introduce more stringent restrictions in the conditions of adaptive quarantine in different regions.

As noted, the Cabinet of Ministers has released a resolution to extend adaptive quarantine until July 31 with updated rules for its compliance.
Since March 12, the government has introduced quarantine in Ukraine to fight the spread of coronavirus infection.
The first weakening of quarantine in Ukraine began on May 11.
From May 22, Ukraine announced the next stage of the weakening of quarantine and decided to introduce adaptive quarantine.
As of June 19, 34,984 cases of COVID-19 had been laboratory confirmed in Ukraine, 921 new cases last day.
