Foreigners and stateless persons will not be able to enter the territory of Ukraine without an insurance policy for expenses related to treatment with COVID-19 and observation.
This was stated by Health Minister Maxim Stepanov during an online briefing on Saturday, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.
“Yesterday’s government decision stipulates that foreigners and stateless persons cannot cross the national border without having an insurance policy for expenses related to the treatment of COVID-19,” said the minister.

At the same time, he noted that the obligation of compulsory observation is established for people coming from countries or who are citizens (citizens) of countries where the spread of COVID-19 is important, where the epidemiological situation is worse. than in Ukraine.
As reported, as of June 13, 30,506 cases of COVID-19 had been confirmed in Ukraine, including 753 on the last day. Currently, 13,976 people have recovered, 880 have died.
According to Worldometer, 7,742,069 cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed worldwide, of which 428,362 have been fatal, 3,967,418 people have recovered.
